
In my book, Boredom leads to three options:
1) Distraction
2) Creation
3) Reflection
Alas I have so often fallen prey to the first category, preferring mindless divertion to animated creation. But Boredom is not necessarily a bad thing. Let me repeat that, boredom is not always bad. In fact, my deepest thoughts often come from moments of utter stagnancy. Just as a blank piece of paper leads to a million possibilities, so does an unengaged mind -- imagine the possibilities...
